Do you live in Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester or Sheffield?

What do they all have in common? OK, clearly they're all great places to live but life is going to get just that little bit better in the coming months? Why? Because these will be the first places to benefit from double speed 4G - coming this Summer.

How fast will double speed 4G be?  Well, you're looking at a top rate of 80Mbps.  That's right - we didn't put that '0' in by mistake, that is eighty Mbps. The average speed won't reach those heady heights but it'll be a none too shabby 22 Mbps, making the UK network right up there with the fastest in the world. That's twice the speed of the average BT broadband connection in the UK.

If you've already opted for a 4G, then don't worry - you won't have to pay for the faster speeds. You'll just be upgraded automatically.

For those of you that haven't, just imagine how much fun you'll have playing games with your mates on the go, watching HD TV and movies with no buffering and downloading apps in a flash.

And EE aren't going to stop there.  There are plans afoot to start testing services that will deliver up to 300 Mbps at the end of this year. Can you imagine?
