LG Reveal the LG G4c & LG G4 Stylus
Just a few weeks after LG launched their new flagship smartphone the LG G4, LG have announced two further brand new handsets which are the LG G4c and the LG G4 Stylus. If you're looking for a mini version of the G4 or perhaps a phablet sized version instead then these great new additions to the G4 family will certainly fit the bill.
The LG G4c will be arriving in the UK on the 8th June, it will offer a more compact sized G4 handset with a 5-inch IPS LCD 720 x 1280 resolution screen with 294 pixels per inch. This compares to the premium and larger 5.5-inch LG G4 smartphone with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels which gives it 538 pixels per inch. The LG G4c features an 8-megapixel camera on the rear which includes an LED flash and autofocus and a very decent 5-megapixel camera on the front.
Under the cover, the LG G4c has a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a solid and removable 2540mAh battery. Storage-wise, it includes 8GB of onboard memory and thanks to the microSD slot, this can be easily increased up to a maximum of 128GB. Initially it will run on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box together with LG's revamped Optimus UX 4.0 user interface. The LG G4c will come in three colour choices including Metallic Grey, Shiny Gold and Ceramic White.
If a larger LG smartphone which also includes a Stylus appeals then the aptly named LG G4 Stylus is worth checking out. Sporting an impressive 5.7-inch HD IPS 720 x 1280 screen with 258 ppi, the stylus comes in handy for note-taking and doodling. Unlike the top-end G4 which has a leather-backed version, the G4 Stylus comes in a plastic design however it features an excellent 13-megapixel rear-facing camera which boasts a laser autofocus, dual LED flash and optical image stabilisation. The front-facing camera is a decent 5-megapixel snapper.
The interior of the LG G4 Stylus is fairly similar to the G4c with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor together with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB. The battery is unsurprisingly bigger at 3000mAh and it will also run on Android Lollipop 5.0 and the Optimus UX 4.0 UI. The G4 Stylus has two colour options, Metallic Silver and Floral White. Look out for both of these great LG smartphones on UK shores soon.
