This Week's Chitter Chatter: Best Smartphones at CES
There was plenty of innovation and new features shown off by smartphone manufacturers at CES 2016. Here are a few of the best phones being released this year.
Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL
The new phone from Alcatel doesn't enjoy specs quite as fierce as the name suggests, but it is a solid mid-level Android phone with a 5.5 inch screen, a plastic body and 16GB of storage.
LG K Series
LG unveiled the K-Series Smartphones at CES, a new range with enhanced camera technology. Two models were showcased - the 5.3-inch K10 and 5-inch K7, which both have cameras with Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot, to help you take better selfies. The K10 is the better model spec with 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixels for the front camera. Both phones run on Android Lollipop.
ZTE Grand X3
With ZTE and Huawei looking to make more of a splash in the West during 2016, there will be more buzz about their newest phones. The ZTE Grand X3 is an entry level Android phone which boasts some good specs. It has a 5.5-inch display with a slim 9mm frame and a curved screen. Inside, the phone has a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM. Running on Android 5.1, the Grand X3 features an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, as well as a USB Type C connector for faster charging.
