CES: The Gadget Show in Las Vegas

CES is the biggest consumer technology show of the year and it has just kicked off in Las Vegas. Manufacturers, retailers, startups and journalists converge on Sin City to show the world the hot Tech gadgets and trends for the next twelve months.

In the next few blog posts, we will look at the most popular Tech gadgets being talked about for 2016.

Drones continue to be popular and here's a new twist - a drone that you can fly in, rather than control. The Ehang 184 promises the possibility of a human-carrying air taxi and is made by a Chinese company more famous for smaller conventional remote drones.

Parrot, a well-known drone manufacturer, demonstrated the Disco drone, which looks like no other drone you have ever seen. It is a fixed-wing model, which resembles a bird or plane, rather than the usual helicopter-style hovering drones that have previously dominated the market. It will be interesting to see if these will start swooping across the skies in 2016.

From the largest people-carrier to the very smallest drone. Mota showed off the JETJAT Nano drone which fits in the palm of your hand, but is a fully functioning quadrocopter drone. Looks like great fun to fly in the park.

In next week's post we will round up all the best phones seen at CES for 2016.
