Chinese manufacturer Vivo teased it’s new smartphone with an all-screen design, which avoids the notch with a pop-up selfie camera. It’s an unusual choice and we’ll have to wait to see if it takes off when the phone comes out later this year.
Details are also starting to emerge for the upcoming Lenovo Z5, which claims to be the first genuine ‘all-screen’ phone. It looks like it will have an impressive screen to body ratio of 95 per cent. Lenovo will be keen to make it a success after it bought Motorola from Google.
Sony has announced a 10-inch digital paper tablet called the DPT-CP1 which is primarily designed to replace your notebook. It has an electronic ink screen and will be able to synchronise your notes with a phone via an app. It can also connect to a projector if you want a bigger display. Find out more about it here.
Up and coming manufacturer OnePlus has released it’s new 6 phone. The OnePlus 6 has an all-screen design with a glass back and aluminium frame. The screen is large at 6.28 inches with a 1080p resolution. Check out all the specs and a review here.
It looks like there is still a good life left in the PlayStation 4 as Sony executive John Kodera revealed this week that the PS5 won’t be with us until 2021. He also hinted that similar to the Nintendo Switch there could be a portable element to the next PlayStation.
